Black History Month – Emotional Roller Coaster

Black History Month – Emotional Roller Coaster

Join onePULSE Foundation as we partner with the Orange County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Initiative and Bethune-Cookman University to present the original theater piece, “Emotional Rollercoaster: Love Letter to Life” in recognition of Black History Month.
The work was created by Bethune-Cookman University’s Theatre Troupe 1904 in response to social issues impacting African American lives. It explores topics such as race, body image, sexuality, relationships, and peer pressure.
This event will also feature a chat-back session with the young performers hosted by Monica May of STAR 94.5
