Mission of the onePULSE Academy

Our Story

onePULSE Foundation is a 501(c) 3 incorporated by the owner of Pulse nightclub. The Foundation was established to create a sanctuary of hope following the tragic day in American history – Sunday, June 12, 2016 – to honor the 49 Angels taken, the 68 others injured, and the countless first responders and healthcare professionals who treated them. This fund supports a memorial that opens hearts, a museum that opens minds, educational programs that open eyes, and legacy scholarships that open doors.

onePULSE Academy is the education arm of the Foundation and is committed to advancing acceptance, inclusion, and remembrance through innovative, reflective, experiential learning methods. Using evidence-based methodologies, it aims to positively impact social change at the individual, group, and community levels.

Our Programs

Programs use an empathy-building model that includes our Conversation Starters, Social Visionary Series, Annual Remembrance Culture Symposium, Ethic and Cultural understanding, and other social issues initiatives.
